I don’t know about you guys, but I’m pretty sure I’ve posted plentiful of “words of wisdom” to you all… But, not doing this, is breaking the writing challenge… So, don’t be shocked if I put quotes here that you’ve seen before… 🙂
“The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.”
A little more effort can take you from ordinary to extraordinary, just need to take that extra step. 🙂
And that is not just for you guys… It’s also for me… I’ve been to a lot of experience with being mad at people when they are actually right, and I’m wrong. DON’T LET YOUR PRIDE SWALLOW YOU UP.
“Imitation is the sincerest flattery.”
Don’t be mad to those people who seem to be copying everything you do… Yes, I know it’s annoying and frustrating, but look on the bright side, someone wants to be you, that’s a rare thing to happen nowadays, since most people imitate Hollywood stars…
Seriously, no need to uptight and serious all the time… Surprise yourself with things you didn’t know you could/would do. It’s way better to make yourself smile than others making you smile all the time… (unless it’s pizza and ice cream… then i’m giving you the blessing to be happy with them.)
“It is easier to advise the suffering than to bear the suffering.”
Oh how accurate of this. So next time, when giving advises to people, remember to think of being in their shoes first before throwing out advises. Sometimes advises only weaken the person and not help them at all.
Okay. I’m serious about this one. You should make this a wallpaper or something as a reminder not to lose yourself on the way to getting all your desires… REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE.
“We live in our desires rather than in our achievements.”
– George Moore
A continuation of the colorful quote up there. DON’T. Enjoy the little things in life remember?! don’t disappoint yourself by living in your desires. they’re a good inspiration, but like drugs it’ll make you feel as if all you have and have done is not enough yet. IT IS. I don’t know you, as you’re reading this, but honestly? even if you only finish grade school and striving your way up in order to live another day is enough proof to me that you achieved something. And that is, not giving up. That’s a lot of achievement for me if asked.
And I hope one day all of those insecurities you have of yourself will banish. Accept yourself wholly, because no one will, someone might, but there will be itty-bitty pieces of yourself that they won’t want, do the brave thing and love yourself no holds barred. Okay? okay.
“The aim of education should be to teach us rather how to think, than what to think…”
– James Beattie
Not saying anything here.
YEP. Do that.
I would’ve put my traditional “Enjoy the little things in life” up there but decided not to. 🙂
Anyways, either take my advises or not, as long as you live a happy fulfilled life, then i’ll die a happy blogger. 🙂
